Walk across South Kihei Road and across Kamaole Beach Park to the new oceanfront trail that heads south.

Pass interpretative signs on the Wedge-Tailed Shearwaters ('us'u'kani).

Pass through the Kihei Boat Harbor, the Kihei Surfside complex, and the Mana Kai condo complex. Drop down to Keawapaku Beach and walk past the humble homes of the rich and famous. The 29,000 square foot concrete fortress-like home is owned by a San Francisco billionaire. It is reportedly tsunami-proof.

When the now-closed Sheraton Renaissance Hotel comes into view, locate the oceanside nature trail that goes in front of the mega-resorts. Explore the hotels all the way to Kea-Lani. Southern parts of the walk have plants marked.
