Our unit is on the southern end of the third floor of Building Five, one of the best-located buildings in the Kamaole Sands Resort. Views from the bedroom look toward magnificent Haleakala. The lanai looks onto the pool complex and gardens, with the West Maui Mountains on one side and Haleakala on the other. The lanai is aimed toward the west and catches the beautiful sunsets most of the year. A wide overhang protects the lanai from the warm afternoon sun. Trade winds usually waft through the unit keeping it cool. If it gets too warm, the new remote controlled, five-speed, 24,000 BTU air conditioner will keep you comfy. The walkway is well removed from the bedroom window assuring privacy and light. Our guests have loved this unit and return year after year.
